Another week passes and another infestation has taken root here at the Mega-mansion.

I give you exhibit A and B, or KittyUnit 1 and KittyUnit2. The grand daughter of the folks we’re house sitting for traveled back home to Calgary for an indeterminate amount of time, so for the next little while we are adding two more members to the crew roster. 

These little guys were rescued from the middle of the road on only their 5th day of life when their mom was run over by a passing car.

Kali, the grand daughter, brought them in to the vet clinic where Dr. Wildgoose and I patched them up and showed her how to feed and care for the tennis ball sized felines. Fast forward seven weeks and the fur balls have quadrupled in size and are doing quite well. Gold star for you Kali!

Anyway, the KittyUnits are afraid of Mr. Kitty and everyone runs in terror from the weasels, so we have different territories staked out for the various factions. 

The weasels want to play with everyone and while Mr. Kitty runs from them on sight, the KittyUnits will play in our room near the weasels, so that’s something I guess.

In other news, I made a new dive bag for my gear. I had been using an old duffle bag for the last decade, but it finally gave up the ghost and disintegrated into tiny little nylon particles. A long time friend, BEOTCH, gave me an old dive bag 5 or 6 years ago that Amy has been using, so I basically copied that design and used the most heavy duty parts available. 

I still need to put some grommets and a draw string on the top, but you can see said creation above.
