A Week Away

Last week was my long awaited trip back to Maryland to visit my family. The short version, it was good to see my mom and dad and brother and sisters and the 10 nieces and nephews, but the frenetic pace of life back there makes for long days.

Of course, spending two evening with my dad at the American Legion where he tends bar two nights a week makes me remember why I live in another country. I tried to find something nice to say about his customers here, but I was unable to come up with a single redeeming quality. In fact, the majority of them were so bad I don't know how my dad stands them.

Don’t get me wrong, I have the utmost respect for veterans, but drunken, degenerate, racist, drug dealing douche bags that do nothing but sit on a bar stool  and spew hate about women, non-white people and Democrats, get no love from me. Sorry.

Amy and the weasels managed the week alone without issue as did the boat. Now that I’ve returned to the island, work will resume on all the boat projects currently lying about the house.

As an aside, I was pulled out of line for special inspection at all four opportunities during my recent air travel. I guess I just look guilty of something….

More to follow, end of line…

Once in a while, I have to go to Wal-Mart to remind myself why it is I don't go to Wal-Mart.

Stay in the Caribbean, my friend.

US = Wal-Mart
Caribbean = Target

You may pay more, but the aisles are clean, the employees are polite, and the soccer moms are hot!

Fair winds!

Bozo,

   Why not train that attack dolphin to go take out those ass-clowns? I hear they are way intelligent.
