Ok, so first things first, we are in fact alive. Amy hasn’t left me for a Frenchman named Serge or anything like that. The boat didn’t sink, we weren’t deported or sold into the dark, cold underworld of adult sex slaves being sent to Canada, eh ?!?

Currently, we are in the great white north, also known as Baltimore, Maryland, living under the stairs in my brother’s basement, which as an aside, checks off one of my bucket list items. (i.e. – being the people who live under the stairs)

We’re home for a couple of reasons, most of which involve my old, decrepit, worn out body. We will be returning home (to Dream Catcher) soon, but it’s actually been kind of cool to be back near my family together for the first time since 2003.

I have about 15,000 words worth of updates that I’ll get up soon, but friends and friends of friends are starting to get emails asking them if we are dead, so I thought I should update all three of our dedicated readers as to our actual situation.

Actually, all kidding aside, I’ve really been impressed by all the emails from you guys asking about us. It’s really cool that so many people have so little lives that they keep up with my barely literate ramblings. Gold star for all of you…..

P.S. – Today’s picture was taken by the AmyUnit as I was preparing to head outside and help my brother plow out the neighborhood after 38 inches of snow fell the day after we arrived. Say hello to my inner Redneck. Shitty death!!!
