Thanks to everyone who voiced concern for our well being during this latest storm. All crew members are alive and well and both Dream Catcher and the mega-mansion are in good shape.

Great Exuma faired pretty well considering the destruction just to the east of us. The settlements on Long Island and Crooked Island have been completely devastated. There are reports of fatalities on both islands and a 790 foot container ship is missing and now presumed lost along with the 33 souls on board.

Relief efforts are underway, but the lack of communications between the out islands and Nassau is a huge impediment. The U.S. coast guard is now involved and hopefully supplies will begin to reach those who need it most. We’ve seen no less than 10 Coast Guard rescue hawks pass by today heading south, but from the sketchy reports we are able to get from those areas most affected, its becoming a desperate situation on the ground.
