We Interrupt Your Regularly Scheduled Logs....
January 27 - February 7
Friday, January 27, 2006 - Tuesday, February 7, 2006 - Georgetown, Exumas By Tom
We've returned to life in Georgetown. Partly because we are preparing for the impending arrival of the
Buddy Fred and partly because I wanted to play volleyball.
There isn't a whole lot to report from our 10 days here, but I'll try and hit the highlights.
I found time in between my volley ball schedule to fix 4 more computers for other cruisers. This equates
to almost 4 cases of beer. Always a welcome exchange.
Amy pretty much cleaned the entire boat from top to bottom. I don't think it looked this good when we bought it. She
says it pretty well sucked.
The ferrets did very little remarkable or rememberable during this period except be themselves.
We attended several meetings of the Alcohol Appreciation Society on Hamburger Beach. Each outing turned
out to be a lot of fun.
We got to watch the super bowl at the Peace and Plenty Club. They brought in a projection screen tv setup and
had free munchies. The game was ok, but more important were the commercials. I think the best one was the Fed-ex
commercial with the dinosaurs and the cave man.
Ok, so the Buddy Fred arrives tomorrow. Hopefully he is bringing with him several supplies that we have
run out of. The ferrets will really be pleased if he brings them more banana chips. I would settle for
a new pair of hair clippers as ours is now dead and I am beginning to look like a small shrub.
We will now resume your regularly scheduled logs.
