Ampair was the company we decided to get our first wind generator from. How did we come by this decision. Well, basically I walked through the three neighborhood marina's and out of 62 wind generators, there were more Ampair's than any other bran except the ultra noisy West Marine brand.

I ordered the product from Jack Rabbit Marine and it showed up in a timely manner with no drama. It took me two days to get it put up and wired in. I have so far been disappointed with it's output.

Updated Uh, the low output that I have been complaining about seems to have been caused by someone (me) installing the blades backwards. Once turned around, the wind generator is doing a good job of adding amps to the overall energy equation.

While we can blame me for the error, the directions really should have specified which leading edge went forward on the hub. I have changed my opinion on Ampair and have upgraded their rating accordingly.
