That's me to the right-"Admiral Amy," as Thomas likes to call me when I'm "supervising" (read as "handing him tools") while
he works on mechanical stuff, like our engines. I have to say I'm not very talented in the engine department. My education
wasn't of the practical sort. Degrees in philosophy and literature (Duke '97-Go Bluedevils! Spear the Turtle!) should
have left me totally unemployable. Miraculously, I found a job, and ended up spending five years as a professional liar.
Not a lawyer, but a writer/creative director for two political companies outside Washington, D.C. It may not have been the Great
American Novel, but it payed a lot better. Now I am a truck driving sailor.
I am also the brains of all ferret operations on board Dream Catcher. I live with my brother, Milo.
He is a fat ass. We share a cage in our own ferret bed room and he is always stealing all of the food.
We like living on the sailboat just fine. Remember, my brother is fat. Stop feeding him.
